The Disney/ABC Television Group’s Social Analytics team tracks fan-driven and network-driven activity on social media to deliver insights that will inform programming, marketing, product, and sales strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
A day in the life…
The Social Analytics Intern will support social listening and campaign tracking efforts across TV networks (ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, etc.) and social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). This is a unique opportunity to work across brands and functional areas, gaining valuable exposure to the TV business and the ever-evolving social media landscape.

Familiarity with social media networks
Interest in the television industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
As well as…
•All students must possess unrestricted work authorization
•All students must be at least 18 years old
•You must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship.
•All candidates must be available from May/June to August/September for the 12 week program
•All candidates must be willing to work
40
hours/week
•All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Disney/ABC television series
Previous internship experience in a related field
Social media savvy
Knowledgeable with metrics
Familiarity with research
Comfortable with large data sets
