iOS 12, the next update of Apple's mobile operating system, will have little news and some of them have been described by Bloomberg . The report of the news agency reinforces previous rumors that iOS 12 will not have major news or notorious changes for the user, but will focus on slight changes with total improvements in stability and elimination of bugs that were hampered by launching new improvements year after year. According to Bloomberg, until now it knows of only three points of improvement that iOS 12 will have: a Siri better integrated in the whole operating system, new functions for the Animoji and the Do not disturb tool will also have changes in operation. Bloomberg says that Siri, which has lagged behind rivals such as Amazon's Alexa and Google Assistant, will be further integrated with the search view on the iPhone and its interface will have some changes. Bloomberg does not say how much or in what ways Siri will improve, however. Also, iOS 12 will use Animoji , the animated emoticons until now exclusive of the iPhone X, in the video calls of FaceTime, one of the functions of Apple that received less attention recently. The integration will be simple: users can place any of the Animoji on their face during calls. Bloomberg also says that there will be changes to Do Not Disturb and that users can choose options for what type of notifications to silence and when. Also, the report says that there will not be many changes focused on the iPad contrary to how it happened in iOS 11. Change of strategy
Both Bloomberg and other media claim that Apple will change its strategy for updates from iOS 12. That means that instead of launching a new version of iOS every year full of major changes, will launch a more stable operating system that leaves for later the notorious improvements for the user. Analysts cited by Bloomberg say that this new strategy could hit the presence of Apple in the mobile phone market, because the lack of radical improvements could be perceived by users as a non-essential version. Apple has not made any statements about iOS 12, but it is expected that the mobile operating system will be announced at the annual WWDC event in 2018.
